Remote Security Operations Training & Certification
Learn. Simulate. Get Certified. Operate.
AI Detects. Humans Decide. Security Acts.
Purpose of the Program
The VIGILX Remote Security Operations Associate Training Program is designed to prepare candidates before they enter actual VIGILX security operations. The objective is to create candidates who understand how modern remote security operations work — from CCTV infrastructure and AI-generated events to human verification, SOPs, escalation, and professional incident documentation.

Introduction to VIGILX
What is VIGILX, the Remote SOC model, traditional CCTV vs remote operations, the Detect → Verify → Deter → Escalate model, AI + Human philosophy, and the role of the Remote Security Operations Associate.
CCTV & Video Surveillance Fundamentals
Camera types, field of view, positioning, blind spots, lighting, night visibility, resolution, FPS, audio, connectivity, and camera health. Core concept: Bad Camera = Bad Detection.
VMS Fundamentals
Live camera viewing, camera selection, playback, timeline, recording review, camera status, event navigation, evidence collection, screenshots and video clips.
AI Video Analytics
Person and vehicle detection, intrusion, line crossing, loitering, restricted-area entry, crowd detection, camera tampering, abandoned-object detection, and fire/smoke detection.
Event Verification
Core principle: AI Detects. Humans Decide. AI Alert ≠ Confirmed Incident. The 8-point verification framework: what, where, when, which camera, what is visible, is it genuine, false-positive explanation, and SOP requirement.
Security SOPs
Understanding site-specific SOPs, action hierarchy, authorized intervention, escalation levels, when not to intervene, documentation requirements, and handover procedures.
Remote Intervention & Communication
Professional communication, calm tone, short instructions, avoiding confrontation, when communication is appropriate, when escalation is required, and unauthorized commitments.
Incident Escalation
Detect → Verify → Act → Escalate → Record. Internal, supervisor, customer, and emergency escalation. Information that must accompany an escalation. Maintaining an accurate timeline.
Incident Reporting
Every meaningful security event becomes a structured incident record: customer, site, camera, timestamp, event type, AI classification, operator, screenshots, video clip, action taken, escalation, and resolution.
False Positives & Alert Fatigue
False positives, environmental triggers, lighting issues, shadows, animals, authorized activity, camera movement, duplicate events, and alert prioritization. Do not ignore. Do not blindly trust. Verify.
Operator Discipline
Shift discipline, attendance, login/logout discipline, alert response discipline, handover, communication etiquette, incident ownership, escalation discipline, documentation discipline, and professional conduct.
Privacy, Security & Confidentiality
CCTV footage confidentiality, customer information, screenshots and video clips, password/security awareness, access control, information sharing, personal-device risks, and data privacy awareness.
Customer Communication
Professional language, incident communication, status updates, escalation communication, clarifying information, avoiding unnecessary statements, and written communication.
International Security Operations
White-label security operations, security-company partner model, customer SOPs, professional communication, time-zone awareness, service-level expectations, and documentation standards.
VIGILX Operations Simulator
Candidate receives multiple cameras, AI alerts, different sites, event types, SOP instructions and incident timelines. Full simulation: Monitor → Detect → Verify → Decide → Communicate → Escalate → Document.
